Currently Bookwhen does not automatically refund a customer if you cancel or downgrade a booking. Therefore you must refund the customer from your payment gateway.

Luckily, Bookwhen makes finding the transaction easy!

  1. Click on the booking code in question (e.g. XMJ4E)
  2. Now look towards the right hand side of the booking summary and you'll see a link for 'View payment'. 
  3. You'll be taken straight to the original transaction in your payment gateway, from where you can action a refund.

Refunds aren't your only choice! You can transfer a ticket or provide the customer with credit in the form of a unique discount code
