Including videos in your event descriptions is a powerful way to promote your event and engage potential customers.

This article covers:

Finding the video links

Vimeo

  1. Open Vimeo and find the video you'd like to add to your entry.

  2. Select Share under the video:

Vimeo screen with arrow pointing at the 'Share' button

  3. Copy the Embed code:

Vimeo 'Share this video' screen with arrow pointing at the 'Embed' section

    For example:

<iframe src="https://player.vimeo.com/video/318026017" width="640" height="360" frameborder="0" webkitallowfullscreen mozallowfullscreen allowfullscreen></iframe><p><a href="https://vimeo.com/318026017">Bookwhen Demo Video</a> from <a href="https://vimeo.com/user86735207">Bookwhen</a> on <a href="https://vimeo.com">Vimeo</a>.</p>

πŸ’‘ The 'embed code' is the code you'll need to paste into your entry on Bookwhen.

Where to add the video link

To add the video link (the 'embed link' you copied from YouTube or Vimeo):

  1. Select the entry from your Scheduling list, then Edit entry:

Scheduling setup with an arrow pointing to the 'Edit Entry' button.

  2. Select the Information tab in the entry settings.

  3. Paste the code into the Description field:

Information tab in the entry settings with arrow pointing at the 'Description' field

πŸ’‘ Tip: You can adjust the numbers for 'width=' and 'height=' to make your video smaller (this may be necessary to fit the video on your page).

The video will appear on your public event page in the event description section so customers can view it when reviewing your events before they book.

For example:
