There are several reasons why you or a customer might stop receiving emails, such as a hard bounce, spam complaint, or an ISP block.
This article covers:
Different types of bounces
There are three types of bounces:
Hard bounce
A hard bounce occurs when there's an error on the receiving end, such as an incorrect email address. This blocks any future emails to that address.
Spam complaint
If an email address is marked as invalid due to a past spam complaint, emails may be sent to the junk folder or blocked entirely. You can unmark this through your email host, or our support team can assist.
ISP block
An ISP block occurs when the receiving mail provider rejects the email, preventing delivery and blocking future emails. To resolve this, add mail@bookwhen.com to your safe sender list.
