There are a few steps to complete when handing over your account.

  • Temporarily take your public page offline, so you don't take any bookings or payments during the transition period.

  • Remove your payment options, such as removing any bank details within your 'Offline' term settings or disabling your payment provider (Stripe, PayPal or WorldPay).

    • For example, select Edit next to your payment provider within the Payments section, then Remove Stripe option:

Update the Stripe Email Address

When a new admin takes over your Bookwhen account, it's important to update the email address associated with your Stripe subscription. Here’s how to handle it:

  1. The new Admin updates card details: The new admin should log in and update the account's card details.

  2. Contact Support: Once the card details are updated, reach out to us to provide the preferred email address you'd like to use for Stripe.

  3. We’ll take care of the rest. Our team will update the email address in Stripe to reflect the new admin's details.

The new owner will have access to all your booking information, including your customer details. You can no longer access this data once you've removed yourself from the account. Please ensure to export any data you'd like to retain before removing yourself from the account.

⚠️ Please note: Worldpay is no longer available for new sign-ups. If you're a new customer, please use PayPal or Stripe instead.
