This article covers:

Switching the payment provider

If you've already connected Stripe or PayPal to your account but need to switch to a different account, you'll need to remove the existing connection before reconnecting the new one.

To do this:

  1. Select Settings, then Payments from the left-hand menu on your account.

  2. Select Manage next to the payment provider within your Payments section:

Payments screen with an arrow pointing at the 'Manage' button

  3. Scroll down and select Remove PayPal option / Remove Stripe option (depending on your payment gateway):

Payment gateway settings with an arrow pointing at the remove option

  4. Select Done once complete.

Reconnecting a payment provider

πŸ’‘ Please log into the correct Stripe or PayPal account before reconnecting.

Once you disconnect the integration, you can simply re-add the correct account. To do this:

  1. Select Settings, then Payments from the left-hand menu on your account.

  2. Select Manage next to the payment provider within your Payments section:

Payments screen with an arrow pointing at the 'Manage' button

  3. Select either Connect with Stripe:

  4. Or Connect with PayPal:

  5. Once complete, select Done.

How a payment provider switch affects memberships

Switching to a different payment gateway from Stripe will break the connection for any memberships. Existing offers will not sync to the new account, and you will not be able to manage them.
