If your email is already linked to a Bookwhen account, you cannot use it to create a new account directly. However, there is an easy workaround that lets you set up a new account while keeping access to both accounts.
đĄ To note: If youâve used the same email address for a booker account before, youâll need to enter the same password when creating your admin account. If you canât remember it, reset your password before continuing.
Step 1: Sign up with an alternative email address
To create a new admin account, youâll need to sign up using an alternative email address. This can be any other email you have access to (e.g., a personal email, a team email, or a new one created specifically for this purpose).
Step 2: Add your original email as a team member
Once youâve created the new account with a different email, you can add your original email as an admin.
To do this:
Log in to your new account.
Select Account, then Team from the left-hand menu. From here, select Invite team member:
Enter your email address and select the relevant Role:
Account owner: Access to all account settings, schedules, and data.
Schedule manager: Access to entry setup and booking data.
Bookings admin: Access to booking data only.
Leader: Access to the attendance register for their events only.
Your original email will now have admin access to both accounts, allowing you to manage them seamlessly.
