Depending on your event organiser's settings, creating a password lets you manage your bookings and speeds up checkout by automatically filling in details for future bookings.

Creating a password
There are two places where you can create a password:
Booking confirmation page
After completing a booking, you will have the option to create an account on the booking confirmation page:
You will receive a 'Reset password' email. This is intended to send you a means to set a password so that you can log in and observe the bookings you have made.
Booking confirmation email
And in your booking confirmation email via the Set a new password button:
Selecting Set a new password from either the booking completion page or booking confirmation email will open a new window.
Enter your new password twice, then select Save password & Login:
π‘ Your account works across multiple businesses using Bookwhen, so you only need to create it once.
Changing your password
There are two ways you can change your password:
Using the reset password link
If you need to change your password, you can request a reset code using the following link: https://bookwhen.com/password/reset.
Then, enter your email address in the Email address field and select Send reset code:
π‘ Please note: You must enable Cookies when resetting a password, or an error will appear on the page. For example, "The reset token is invalid. Try requesting a new one, otherwise contact support@bookwhen.com"

Via the Customer Portal
To change your password from within the customer portal:
Log in to your account.
Select the person icon π€ in the top right-hand corner:
Select Account, then Change password:
π‘ Important note about payments and refund
Event organisers handle all payments and refunds. Bookwhen provides the platform for hosting events, but payments are processed through the organiser's personal or business account.
For privacy reasons, the Bookwhen team cannot access these payments. If you have any questions about your booking, please contact the event organiser directly.
