Event organisers manage payments and refunds directly, as all transactions go through their personal or business accounts. For privacy reasons, Bookwhen only hosts the event listing and does not have access to payment details.

If you believe an incorrect charge has been made, please follow the steps outlined in this article to ensure that your refund request is processed effectively.


Steps to request a refund for an incorrect charge

If you need to cancel your booking, you may be eligible to request a transfer or refund, depending on your event organiser's terms and conditions.

  1. Identify the event or organisation: Refunds must be processed by the event organisers. You can typically find their contact information at the bottom of the booking page you used.

  2. Contact the organisers: Reach out directly to the event organiser(s) and explain the situation regarding the incorrect charge. Provide any necessary details to assist them in resolving the issue.

  3. Follow up as needed: If you don’t receive a response or resolution promptly, consider reaching out to the organisers again to ensure your request is seen.

  • Bookwhen cannot directly approve or process refunds on behalf of organisers.
