FAQ: Do my customers need a Stripe account to pay?

Understand what information your customers need to pay with Stripe.

Customers do not need an account to complete a payment with Stripe. They can use a debit or credit card and, for future transactions, choose to pay using their mobile phone number.

The Stripe checkout form:

The payment collection screen asks for:

  • The Card number

  • Expiration date

  • CVC number

  • Country

  • Postal code (depending on the country you select).

๐Ÿ’ก Customers can save their card details for future bookings. However, due to a recent Stripe update for enhanced security and more payment options, the previous card-saving method is no longer recommended or compatible with the new payment form.

The new Stripe payment form shows all available payment methods for easy transactions. It automatically adds future payment options, so Bookwhen wonโ€™t need to update it continuously.
