An Evergreen browser is any browser that can automatically update itself to the latest version.

Browsers like Google Chrome, Apple Safari, Mozilla Firefox, and Microsoft Edge are considered Evergreen browsers. These browsers automatically update to the latest versions, bringing new features, security enhancements, and performance improvements to provide a better browsing experience.

We support the latest versions of Evergreen browsers by designing, developing, and providing support for them.

Previous versions of Evergreen browsers

We offer limited support for previous versions of Evergreen browsers. While the latest versions cover a large portion of our customer base, we strive to accommodate those who prefer or are limited to using older versions.

To achieve this, we extend our compatibility efforts to the latest three versions of the Evergreen browsers (Google Chrome, Apple Safari, Mozilla Firefox, and Microsoft Edge). However, we cannot guarantee an optimal Bookwhen experience when using these older browser versions.

What browser versions should support general Bookwhen functionality?

Does Bookwhen support Internet Explorer?

No – we no longer support Internet Explorer. We recommend downloading the latest version of an Evergreen browser, like Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox.

What issues might I experience when using an unsupported browser?

If you use Bookwhen with an unsupported browser, you may encounter the following issues:

  • Pages may appear blank

  • Pages might not load

  • Links or buttons may not be responsive when clicked
