If you’re trying to create a new Bookwhen account but find that your email address is already linked to an existing account, don’t worry! While it’s not possible to use the same email for multiple accounts directly, there’s a simple workaround to help you set up a new account and retain access to both.
This article covers:
Step 1: Sign up with an alternative email address
To create a new account, you’ll need to sign up using an alternative email address. This can be any other email you have access to (e.g., a personal email, a team email, or a new one created specifically for this purpose).
Step 2: Add your original email as a team member
Once you’ve created the new account with a different email, you can add your original email as an admin.
To do this:
Log in to your new account.
Select Account, then Team from the left-hand menu. From here, select Invite team member:
Enter your email address and select the relevant Role:
Account owner: Access to all account settings, schedules, and data.
Schedule manager: Access to entry setup and booking data.
Bookings admin: Access to booking data only.
Leader: Access to the attendance register for their events only.
Your original email will now have admin access to both accounts, allowing you to manage them seamlessly.
To switch accounts, select the down-arrow next to your account name in the left-hand dashboard menu:
