The Waiting List keeps popular events full by notifying interested customers when a spot becomes available. It prevents empty spaces, helps you gauge demand for extra classes, and connects you with new customers.

This article explains how to set up and manage the Waiting List to maximise attendance and reach new customers.

Contacting people from your Waiting List
The Waiting List activates when bookings reach the Maximum event size, making the event fully booked. Then, instead of being able to book a ticket, customers can select the Join waiting list button to register their interest.
Once they select Join waiting list, they must enter their name and email address. They can also provide a contact number if they wish.
Locating the list
To find the list for each event:
Open your Scheduling page.
Select the entry with the waiting list and scroll down:
You can tell which entries have a waiting list as a "+ number" will appear next to the capacity, i.e. "10/10 + 4".
You can copy email addresses directly from there, or you can export the Waiting List into a .csv (spreadsheet) format using the Export list to the CSV link at the bottom of the list:
π‘ When contacting customers on the waiting list, be mindful of GDPR rules. You can typically message them about the specific event they joined the list for, but you shouldn't add them to mailing lists or send marketing messages unless they've given clear consent.
Assessing interest for additional events using the Waiting List
Regularly check your waiting lists to spot demand trends and identify peak times. If there's high demand, consider adding another event before or after the original one.
β¨ You can also create a 'waiting list-only' entry to gauge interest for your events.
π‘ Important note: Editing the event duration in the Dates & Times tab will remove any active waitlisters. If you need to adjust the duration, note their details and contact them if the event becomes available.
