What are 'red lines'?
When you amend the date or time of an entry with confirmed bookings from within the entry, you may notice that one or more events in your schedule list appear in red.
For example:
This indicates a potential conflict or issue with the booking details, often due to the changes you've made. The red lines help you easily identify which events may be impacted by the date or time change.
π‘ 'Red Lines' do not show to your customers on your public page.
How to resolve the red-line error
When this happens, you have two options to resolve the issue:
Restore the original date/time to your schedule
To restore the original date/time:
Open your Scheduling page.
Select the red highlighted time/date, then Edit entry:
Select the Dates & Times tab, the highlighted red date, then add this date/time back into the schedule.
Select Save or Save & Exit to save the entry.
π‘ Once you've reinstated the date/time, please follow the instructions outlined in our changing the date, time or duration of an event article.
Move the attendees to the new date
To move the attendees on the red-line entry to the new date:
Open your Scheduling page.
Select the red-lined entry, the drop-down menu next to Edit entry, then Move attendees:
Select the date/time you wish to move the booker information to:
β
π‘ Please note: If you choose option 2 and attendees are still booked on the red-lined date/time, they will be moved to the new date/time you select. This may impact event capacity. For example, if your event has a capacity of 10 and 2 attendees are moved, the system wonβt enforce the original capacity, which could result in overbooking.
