What are 'red lines'?
Sometimes you may notice that one or more events in your schedule list appear in red.
For example:
The red lines show up when an event with bookings has its date or time changed or removed from within the entry. This indicates that the date/time no longer matches the schedule, but the bookings still exist.
๐ก 'Red Lines' do not show to your customers on your public page.
How to resolve the red-line error
When this happens, you have two options to resolve the issue:
Bring the original date/time back into your schedule.
To do this, select the red highlighted time/date, then Edit entry:
Select the Dates & Times tab, then the highlighted red date, and add this date/time back into the schedule.
Then cancel or transfer the customer's ticket to an alternative time/date.
Select the red-lined entry, then the drop-down menu next to Edit entry. From here, select Move attendees:
You can then select the date/time you wish to move the booker information to:
If the red line still appears even after cancelling the event, try using the "Move attendees" option to another date.
This won't move attendees but will unlink the remaining booking details from the red-lined event, removing it from your schedule.
๐ก Please note: If you choose option 2 and attendees are still booked on the red-line date/time, they will be moved to the new date/time you select. This can affect event capacity. For instance, if your event has a capacity of 10 and 2 attendees are moved over, the system wonโt enforce the original capacity, meaning the event could be overbooked.
