How to reset your password
To reset your password:
Open the following link: https://bookwhen.com/password/reset
Type your email address into the email address field:
Select the Send reset code button. We will send further instructions to the email you provided. Please note that this may take a few minutes to arrive in your inbox.
Email example:
Select the Set a new password button (or the manual link at the bottom of the email).
You will be redirected to the reset password screen:
Type your new password into the Set a new password field and again in the Type the password again field to ensure the passwords match and you typed them correctly.
Once completed, you can opt for us (Bookwhen) to remember your login information for 2 weeks by checking the Remember me for 2 weeks tickbox:
To stay logged in for more than two weeks, you’ll need to log in at least once during that two-week period. If you don’t, the system will automatically log you out and prompt you to log in again next time.
Otherwise, you can skip this step. Then select Save Password & Login to save your new password and log in to your account as usual.
FAQ
Will resetting the password for a shared account automatically log out any active sessions on other devices, preventing access by a former employee?
Will resetting the password for a shared account automatically log out any active sessions on other devices, preventing access by a former employee?
Yes, resetting the password will log out any active sessions on other devices, but only once the new password has been set using the "Set password" link from the email. However, requesting a password reset alone will not terminate any active sessions in other browsers or devices.
To ensure security, especially for shared accounts, we recommend resetting the password and enabling multi-factor authentication (MFA). This will help prevent unauthorised access, even if a previous session was active.
