✨ Please note: Passes are available on the Standard plan or above.
You can update pass details, remove them from sale, or delete them entirely. This helps you maintain accurate and up-to-date offerings. This article explains how to manage pass availability, make changes, and remove pass offers when needed.
Modifying an active Pass
When modifying a pass, some changes will impact customers who have already purchased it, while others will only apply to future purchases.
Use the table below to clarify the effect of each change:
Change | Impact on existing passes |
Pricing | Updated pricing will not retroactively change past purchases. Any previously paid amount remains as recorded. |
Usage restrictions / Pass type | Changes will apply to all current pass holders. For example, if you add or remove ticket or event restrictions, this affects existing passes. |
Number of uses | Updating the number of allowed uses will affect all active pass holders, including those who have already used the pass. |
Single use per event | Changing this setting will apply to existing pass holders. |
Event and ticket restrictions | Modifications will apply to current pass holders, including any restrictions you add or remove. |
Timeframe for use | Modifying the general validity period (start and end dates) does not affect existing passes. However, changing “Days valid from first use” can reactivate expired passes if limits are removed. |
Availability – total passes available | Updating the total number of passes available does not affect passes that have already been sold. |
Availability – when the pass is available for purchase | Changes only affect future purchases; existing passes remain unchanged. |
Adding new or duplicated events to a Pass
The system treats each event entry separately, even if it’s a duplicate. This means that if you have a restricted pass, you’ll need to manually add any new or duplicate entries to the pass so it works as expected.
How to do this:
Select Packages & Discounts, then Passes from the left-hand menu on your account.
Locate your pass, then select Edit next to the relevant pass to open the settings.
Select Add usage restriction within the pass settings to review/add new or duplicated entries/tickets:
💡 To note:
The drop-down shows entries by the next upcoming date, but all future dates in that entry will be covered. For example:
If you’ve duplicated an entry, make sure to include the new version in your restrictions too.
Unpublishing a Pass (pausing sales)
You can unpublish a pass if you want to stop selling it, but allow existing customers to continue using their remaining passes. This is useful if you plan to offer the pass again later. Unpublishing a pass also ensures that existing customers can continue to use their passes without interruptions, but prevents new purchases.
To do this:
Select Packages & Discounts, then Passes from the left-hand menu on your account.
Find the pass in the list, then select Edit to open the settings:
Slide the circle so it appears to the left of the toggle:
Scroll down and select Save changes. Once selected, the pass will become unavailable for purchase, but active pass holders can still redeem their remaining uses.
Deleting a Pass
Deleting a pass removes it from sale and prevents customers with active passes from redeeming their remaining uses. If customers still have uses left, we recommend unpublishing instead, so they can continue using the pass.
To do this:
Select Packages & Discounts, then Passes from the left-hand menu on your account.
Find the pass in the list, then select Edit to open the settings:
Scroll down, and select Delete this pass:
Select OK to confirm the deletion.
Recovering a deleted pass
If you have accidentally deleted a pass or need to recover one, please contact the support team for assistance.
Editing an individual customer’s Pass
If you need to adjust a specific customer’s pass, such as changing the number of uses, extending the expiration date, or revoking it entirely, you can do this within their Customer profile under the Customers tab.
