You can integrate your Bookwhen account with Jitsi to automatically generate secure video call links as the online location for your events. These links are unique to each event and only booked customers can access them through their confirmation emails or Bookwhen accounts.
This article explains how to connect your account with Jitsi, create secure video call links, and share them with booked attendees.
Adding a location that generates a Jitsi call
To add Jitisi as your event location:
Open your Scheduling page.
Select your entry from the list, then Edit entry (or Add a new entry in the top right-hand corner if you're creating a new one):
Select the Location tab to open the location settings, then Online event and Add a new location.
Select Jitsi integration from the drop-down menu under Online provider:
Enter a location under Location name (this displays to your customers on your public page).
Add any additional session information your attendees may need for the call in the Private online event information and Additional information fields:
For example, you can advise customers to download the Jitsi app (from their app store) before the event if they intend to join from a mobile device (phone or tablet).
How Jitsi call links work
Bookwhen generates a unique video link for each date in an entry, so you only need to create the Jitsi call location once per entry.
If you need a different location name or private online session details for another entry, create a separate entry with manually added joining details outlining the Jitsi call location.
If you update the private event information after bookings have been made, we recommend resending confirmation emails. Otherwise, attendees who booked before the change will only have access to the previous details.
How your customers access the video call
Your customers can find the link to access the Jitsi video call in their booking confirmation email by selecting View online event.
Once selected, they can join the event using the Join even with Jitsi Meet button:

You can access your online event page from your scheduling page, including any joining instructions.
To do this:
Open your Scheduling page.
Select the relevant event date/time from your scheduling list, then Online event:
