This article helps you select the right live streaming option for your classes. While it focuses on live-streamed sessions, Bookwhen also supports pre-recorded content through Vimeo and YouTube.

Choose your video conferencing software

There are several options for live streaming. Here are five examples:

  1. Zoom: Integrate your Bookwhen account with Zoom.

  2. Facebook Live: Stream to Facebook users only.

  3. Jitsi: Integrate your Bookwhen account with Jitsi.

  4. Google Hangouts: Free for up to 10 people, with unlimited duration and no installation required.

  5. Skype meet: This is free for up to 50 people and accessible via the app or browser (supported on Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome).

✨ Check out our Live Streaming checklist for key steps before and after your live-streamed event.

Adding online event links to your events

There are four ways to add online event links to your schedule:

  1. Automatically creates a unique Zoom meeting link for each event and sends it to attendees. The information is secure, so only booked attendees can access it.

  2. Automatically generates a unique Jitsi meeting link for each event and sends it to attendees. The information is secure, so only booked attendees can access it.

  3. If you're not using Zoom or Jitsi, you can manually add a joining link to any event. Unlike our integrations, you’ll need to enter the details yourself, but Bookwhen will still send the information automatically, ensuring only booked attendees can access it.

  4. You can include your online event link in the booking confirmation message, which applies to all events in your entry series.
