Reporting on Customer Groups with the Customer list

The Customer list is a great way to get a general overview and report of all customers that belong to a customer group.

To do this:

  1. Select Customers from the left-hand menu on your account.

  2. Select the Filter by the drop-down menu:

Customers tab with an arrow pointing at the 'Filter by' drop-down menu

  3. Select the Customer group filter option, then the Add to add it to the search bar:

Customers tab with the 'Groups' filter section highlighted

  4. Select the Groups field to show a drop-down of all your customer groups.

  5. You can select all or certain groups to add to the search, then select Search to generate the results.

The results appear in the list and include information on whether they were manually added to the group or are part of the group due to having a paid membership.

For example:

Exporting the list

You can export this list in a spreadsheet format by selecting the Options drop-down menu, then Export customers (CSV):

Customer Groups Overview

The customer group overview page allows you to view the total number of active customers within each group and the offers available to that group.

To do this:

  1. Select Packages & Discounts, then Groups from the left-hand menu on your account.

  2. The active customers figure within the group tile shows how many active customers there are in the group:

Customer groups screen with '[number] active customers | [number] offer' highlighted

  3. If you have active customers, select View next to the group to open the settings, and scroll down to the Customers section to view all active customers within the group.

  4. You can also view the specific group in the Customer list by selecting Actions and then Show on customers list:

Customers section with an arrow pointing at the 'Show on customers list' option within the 'Actions' drop-down menu

πŸ’‘ Important note: When you set up a membership, the customer group is automatically created for you and will show in the customer group overview.
