This article covers:

Uploading your file

💡 To note: Only Account owners can upload files.

First, ensure the file you upload has a name that is both appropriate and makes sense to your customers, as it will appear in the booking form. This is also important for you to identify the file at a later date if needed.

To upload a file, select Settings from the left-hand menu, then Files. From here, select Upload files from the top right-hand corner:

  • You can upload files in the following formats only:
jpeg, jpg, png, gif, mp4, m4v, mov, txt, ics, doc, docx, pdf, ppsx, ppt, pptx, pub, rtf, xls, xlsx.

Use the Select files button to select your document from your device:

Then Done when the file has finished uploading:

Attaching your file to a booking field

You can now create a new booking field to attach the file to.

When setting up the field, select the Check box - for capturing consent field type and title it under Field label.

  • For example, "I have read and agree to the Terms & Conditions".

To add the file, select the Attachment drop-down menu:

Once uploaded, select the Add to all entries option under Would you like to add this form field to all entries? if you wish to add this field to all current and future entries:

Or, you can add this field to only specific entries in your schedule by selecting Edit entry, the Booking form tab, and then Select & reorder fields.

You can also choose whether or not it is a mandatory requirement to complete upon booking.

How customers can access the file and consent

The field will appear for the customer during checkout under Booking details:

They can download the file by selecting the hyperlink underneath the file title. e.g. "Privacy policy.png"

💡 If you have made the field mandatory, the customer cannot proceed with the booking unless they check the checkbox.
