💡 Important note: Please keep the original booking active and do not cancel it. Cancelling the ticket will remove the customer from all dates in the course.
If a customer can’t attend a specific date on a course ticket, you can free up their spot for someone else. Since course tickets cover all dates together and can’t be managed individually, the easiest approach is to manually increase the event’s capacity for that date rather than cancelling the booking.
To do this:
Open your scheduling page.
Select the course from your schedule.
Increase the event capacity for the date your attendee can’t attend to open up a space for other customers to book (if applicable).
💡 Please ensure you have a drop-in ticket alongside your course ticket so the additional customer can book on.
1. Directly from the schedule list
If you have a drop-in ticket alongside your course ticket, all dates on the course will display separately in your schedule list.
If they are grouped together, you will need to expand the course so that all of the dates appear in your schedule list. To do this:
Open your Scheduling page.
Select Filter items at the top of the schedule list:
Tick the Expand courses checkbox:
Select the date you'd like to amend, the drop-down menu next to Edit entry, then either Event specific information or Add online joining details (depending on whether you have a physical or online event):
Manually adjust the event capacity for this singular date by adding the new number in the Maximum event size field:
The scheduling list will show the new capacity you set for that singular date:
2. From within the attendee list
Select the course entry from your schedule list, then the attendee list button 👨👩👧👦 next to the date you'd like to amend:
Select the Options drop-down menu, then Event specific information (or Add online joining details if it's an online course with manually added joining details):
Manually adjust the event capacity for this singular date by adding the new number in the Maximum event size field:
Increasing the event capacity will free up space for the event, allowing an additional customer to book for that specific date.
