Memberships and passes can support flexible booking options for families and groups, but the best setup depends on how access and attendance work for your events. Choosing the right structure helps you manage bookings efficiently and create a clear experience for customers.
This article explains how to configure memberships and passes for family and group ticket setups.
Setting up memberships and passes for families and groups
You can use membership offers and ticket restrictions to control which family or group tickets customers can book and which tickets they can use passes for.
Allow membership holders to book additional tickets
To let a sibling membership holder book an additional single-child ticket for a different class:
Add an offer to the membership for the single-child ticket or tickets.
Enable Allow additional attendees in the offer restrictions. This allows the membership holder to book for another child.
Set any limits you need, such as one additional ticket per membership or one booking every two weeks.
Add the relevant single-child tickets under Tickets where offer applies.
Make sure the membership holder is logged into the Booker account linked to their membership.
💡 To note: Memberships grant access while they are active. Combining memberships with course tickets can make access harder to manage if a membership is cancelled partway through a course. Use additional offers to control access to specific tickets instead.
Restrict a pass to specific tickets
To make sure a pass can only be used for child tickets:
Select Ticket as the restriction type when setting up the pass. Do not select Entry or Tag.
Add the specific child tickets to the restriction.
This prevents customers from using the pass for sibling, adult, or other ticket types.
Review your setup
Before making your memberships or passes available to customers:
Explain any restrictions clearly in your ticket and membership information.
Review ticket restrictions regularly to make sure they still match your setup.
Test the booking process to confirm that customers can access and use the correct tickets.
