Saved card details make future bookings faster and more convenient. Understanding how these details are stored and managed helps you keep your payment information up to date and in control.

This article explains how saved card details work and how to manage them when booking through Bookwhen.


Where are my card details stored?

  • Bookwhen itself does not save your card details.

  • If you used Stripe for payments, your card details may be stored in Stripe's Onelink app, linked to the email address you used during checkout.

Steps to remove saved card details

  1. Log in to Stripe's Onelink app using the email address associated with your payment.

  2. Follow Stripe's instructions to delete the saved payment methods. You can find detailed guidance on Stripe's support page.

Considerations for active subscriptions or memberships

  • If you have an active subscription or membership, you may need to wait until it is fully cancelled before removing your saved card details. Once the subscription ends, you can remove the card information from your account’s billing or payment settings.

  • For memberships, you can update or remove the payment method via the membership’s settings menu, if applicable.

Avoiding saved card details

  • During checkout, you can choose not to save your card details when prompted.

  • If your card details were saved inadvertently, you can remove them later using the steps outlined above.

Additional notes

  • Deleting your Bookwhen account is not required to remove saved card details. Managing them via Stripe's Link app is the correct approach.
