Duplicating an old or existing entry can save you a lot of time if you'd like to create a new entry using the same information as an existing entry.

Everything copies, including the dates, ticket settings booking form, and embedded videos. However, the new, duplicated entry is entirely separate from the original, so you can edit it independently.

πŸ’‘ Any changes to your new copied entry will not affect your original entry.

This article covers:

How to duplicate an entry

Navigate to your Scheduling page to locate the entry you wish to duplicate.

If you're duplicating an entry from the past, use the date filter in the top left of your page to locate it:

Select the entry so that it is highlighted, then the drop-down menu next to Edit entry. From here, select Duplicate this entry:

Schedule list with an arrow pointing at the 'Duplicate this entry' option within the 'edit entry' drop-down menu. This shows users what to click to duplicate their entry.

You will then have created a duplicate of the original entry. With Copy of: added to the title:

Schedule list showing an original entry name alongside a duplicated entry, with 'copy of:' in front of it to highlight to users what a duplicate entry looks like.

You can change the title of the entry by selecting Edit Entry and editing the name within the Information tab of the entry settings:

How to amend the dates and times

Please note that the system copies the original entry date and times. You may need to remove all of these to not confuse your schedule. We recommend deleting the old dates to keep your dates/times tidy.

To do this, select Edit Entry, then Dates and Times, and then use the date filter to locate the previous dates:

Arrow pointing at the hyperlinked date at the top of the dates/times, showing users what to click to open a calendar, where they can select a date of their choosing.

Once selected, select Edit the recurring schedule as a whole to amend the recurrence to start from your new start date:

Dates and times tab with arrow pointing at the 'edit the recurring schedule as a whole', showing users what to click to edit their recurring schedule as a whole.

Or remove this original recurrence entirely via Remove highlighted dates/times:

Arrow pointing at the 'Remove highlighted date/times' option, showing users what to click to remove past dates/times from their duplicated entry.

Then select Add another date/time to add a new recurrence into your duplicated entry if needed:

Dates and times tab with an arrow pointing at the 'Add another date/time' button, showing users where to click to add another date/time into their entry.
