✨ Please note: Ticket costs are available on the Lite plan or above.

Group tickets let your customers book for 2 or more people, often with a discount, for a single fixed price set by you. This article explains how to set them up on your Bookwhen account.

How to create a group or family ticket

  1. Open your Scheduling page.

  2. Select your existing entry, then Edit entry:

Scheduling page with arrow pointing at the 'Add a new entry' button

  3. Select the Tickets & Costs tab, then Create ticket:

Tickets & Costs tab with arrow pointing at the 'Create ticket' button

  4. Add all the relevant information relating to the ticket, such as Name, Pricing etc. Once completed, select the Group use checkbox to make a Group ticket:

Tickets & Costs tab with arrow pointing at the 'Group use' option

  5. Enter a minimum attendee amount in the fields under How many people does this ticket cover?

    For example:

Tickets & Costs setup with 'How many people does this ticket cover?' setting highlighted

    • The minimum number you can set is 2, and there isn't a limit on the maximum number.

πŸ’‘ Important notes:

  • The price remains fixed, regardless of how many attendees a customer adds to the group ticket. If you'd like to adjust the price based on group size, we recommend creating separate group tickets for each size.

  • Each attendee you book through a group ticket counts towards the maximum event size. The same applies to group/family passes. The system deducts one pass use per booked attendee.
