✨ Please note: The Membership feature is only available on the Standard Plan and above, using Stripe as their integrated payment provider.

This article covers:

Calculating usage allowances

If you've applied usage limits to the membership offer, the system will enforce these restrictions. Customers will be allowed to book only the specified number of uses within the designated time period.

If you choose the monthly plan, your usage period matches your billing cycle. For example, if you sign up on the 3rd, your usage period restarts on the 3rd of each month.

πŸ’‘ Important note

If you make an admin booking on behalf of your customers, please note that this is not counted toward their usage allowance.

What customers experience when they reach their usage limit

When customers reach their usage limits for a particular offer, the system will prevent them from booking additional tickets during the usage period. On the public booking page, they will see a message indicating that they have reached their limit:

However, they will still be able to book on for future tickets as long as it is restricted to within the permitted allowances.

Reporting on membership offer usage

As we enhance how you report on membership offer usages, you can check this data for individual customers. There are a couple of ways to do it:

Via the customer list

Go to your Customer list and search for the customer using their name or email, then select the hyperlinked email within the Customer column to open their customer profile.

In the Details tab under Summary, Select View attendances beside total events booked.

This will give you a list of their previous and future booked events:

From here, scroll down to view which events were booked as membership tickets and how many membership-based tickets they've booked.

Via memberships

Select Packages & Discounts from the left-hand menu, then Memberships. From here, select View next to the membership you'd like to open and scroll down to the Memberships section.

From here, you can look for the customer whose usage you want to view. Select the three dots (...) link, then View customer to open their unique customer profile:

Then follow the same steps to see the customers' booked events as listed above in Via the customer list.

Changing existing membership offers

If you want to update or include a new offer within a membership, you can do this by updating the offer via the Customer group that was created for the membership.

πŸ’‘ Please note: Customers won't receive system emails about offer changes. For a better customer experience, it's a good idea to communicate any changes to existing members, explaining what changes are happening and when they will take effect.

Updating existing offers

Select Packages & Discounts from the left-hand menu, then Memberships. From here, select Edit next to the membership you'd like to amend and scroll down to the Offers section.

Select the line item of the offer you want to change and then the Edit offer button, or select the three dots (...) link and then Edit offer.

Then you can change the uses and usage period to the new restriction and then select Update to save this.

πŸ’‘ Important note: Updating or modifying an offer within your membership will extend new benefits to all existing and new customers who purchase the membership
