This article explains the process for deleting your Bookwhen account, including important details such as handling future bookings, memberships, passes, and data removal.

What happens when you delete your account?
💡 Deletion can only be completed if you do not have any upcoming bookings or active memberships.
Deleting your account will remove your personal information and any accounts associated with your email address across all Bookwhen profiles, including any passes and memberships.
How to delete your account
💡 Please note: Deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone.
You can delete your account in two ways:
Request through the event organiser
Cancel future bookings: Before you can delete your account, you will need to cancel any upcoming bookings. Depending on the organiser’s settings, you can either:
Use the booking confirmation email to cancel your tickets, or
Contact the event organiser directly to request cancellation.
Account deletion request: Once your bookings are cancelled, the event organiser can delete your profile. Alternatively, you can request account deletion by contacting the Bookwhen support team via live chat or email.
Via the Customer portal
To delete your account:
Log in to your account and select the person icon 👤 in the top right-hand corner:
Scroll to the Delete your account section located at the bottom.
Review the information and tick the I confirm I have read and understand the above checkbox, then select Delete account:
You should receive an email shortly after with a unique 6-digit confirmation code:
Enter the code into the 6-digit confirmation code field, then select the Confirm deletion button to confirm the deletion request in Bookwhen:
Once confirmed, you will be logged out, and you will receive an email with confirmation of the permanent account deletion.
💡 If you want any specific data relating to an event deleted, please contact your event organiser directly.
Additional Considerations
Passes & Memberships: Deleting your account will also remove any active passes or memberships tied to your profile.
Admin accounts: If you also have an admin account linked to Bookwhen, please contact us to determine the best course of action.
Multiple organisers: If you have bookings with multiple event organisers, you'll need to cancel bookings with each organiser before you can delete your account.
What Happens After Deletion?
Once your account is deleted:
You will no longer be able to log in to your Bookwhen account.
You will receive a confirmation email that your account has been deleted.
Any attempt to log in after deletion will result in an error.
