You can switch between monthly and annual subscriptions or change your plan at any time within the month or year. Your invoice will be adjusted to reflect the time spent on the original plan and the new one. If you switch to a cheaper plan, any credit will be added to your account.
This article covers:
Upgrading vs. downgrading your plan
When changing your plan, there are a few key differences depending on whether you're upgrading or downgrading.
Upgrading ⬆️
Card Details: We’ll ask for your card details again, but you won’t be charged until your next invoice.
Immediate Access: You’ll get immediate access to the new plan’s allowances and features.
Proration: Any remaining time on your current plan will be prorated against your new plan.
Charges: You’ll never be charged for more than you use.
Downgrading ⬇️
Plan Features: You’ll keep all your paid plan features until your next invoice date, at which point you’ll switch to the Free or downgraded plan.
Data & Pages: You won’t lose any data, schedule pages, or team members, but you may not be able to access all the same features.
Active Memberships: Active memberships do not auto-cancel when downgrading, and you will need to cancel them manually.
Exclusive Tickets: Exclusive tickets will no longer appear on your public page.
Active Pass uses/Voucher uses: Existing passes or vouchers can still be redeemed, but no new ones can be sold. Ensure you generate a report before downgrading, as report access will be unavailable after the downgrade.
Changing your subscription
To change your account subscription:
Select Account, then Plans & billing from the left-hand menu on your account.
Select either the Upgrade or Downgrade buttons underneath each plan option.
Check that you have selected the correct plan at the top, then choose either the monthly or annual option.
Add a Name on invoice and Billing address.
If you have a valid discount code, select Apply discount code.
Once ready to proceed, select Enter payment details:
Add your card number, then select the Pay x + VAT box to confirm the switch:
We do this for validation purposes only. You will not be charged until your next billing date, at which point payment will be prorated to reflect the new plan.
Changing the currency
You can change the currency used for pricing options. To do this:
Select Account, then Plans & billing from the left-hand menu on your account.
Scroll down and select the payment settings page link at the bottom of the page:
Select Edit next to Currency:
Select your currency from the Currency drop-down menu, then Save changes:
Annual to monthly (and vice versa) on the same plan
Switching from an annual to a monthly plan adds pro-rated credit to your account, which automatically covers future payments. Once this credit is used up and your annual contract ends, you'll start paying the new monthly amount. Your next billing date will be based on the switch date.
If you switch from a monthly to an annual plan, you'll be charged for the full year, with a deduction for any unused time on your monthly plan.
For example:
Change from monthly to annual (and vice versa) and switch plans
Your billing date will reset to the switch date, and your invoice will be pro-rated. If you're upgrading, you'll pay the difference. If you're downgrading, credit will be added to your account.
💡 To note: You'll gain access to the new plan features immediately (the switching date).
Remain on monthly and switch plans
You won’t be charged on the switch date. Instead, your next monthly invoice will be pro-rated to reflect time spent on both plans. Your new plan features will be available from the switch time.
Remain on yearly and switch plans
You won’t be charged on the switch date. Your next annual invoice will be pro-rated based on time spent on the old and new plans. New plan features will be available immediately.
Annual plan cancellation
We cannot offer refunds or credit for cancelling an annual plan. This is covered in our T&Cs under 10.3.
💡 To note:
You will never pay for more than you use, and access to the new plan begins at the time of the switch.
If you upgrade mid-billing period (e.g., from a £10 to a £20 plan), you’ll be charged an additional £5. This accounts for the unused time on the initial plan and the remaining time on the new one.
